What I’m Getting At the Sephora Beauty Sale

It’s that time of the year! Whether you’re looking to stock up or scoop up some new products, we’ve got some shopping to do. For Sephora Rouge, early access was last weekend and this upcoming weekend. VIBs and Beauty Insiders have their sales coming up over the new few weeks, and Rouges get to shop all the sales. If you’re not sure what to pick up, here’s my list of must-haves to stock up on as well as hot ticket items at Sephora that I’ll probably end up giving into buying. #makeupjunkie

Kerastase Shampoo

When Sephora announced they were going to carry Kerastase, I was floored! People, this is a salon grade brand. Reason being, the products are high quality with a not a ton of harsh chemicals. I purchased this hair mask for my split ends, and it worked like a charm. You know you’re treating your hair with true TLC when you use this shampoo. Don’t forget conditioner.

Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1

I’m on the go all the time, and sometimes it’s nice to have a product that just does it all. Enter Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1. It volumizes and texturizes hair giving it tons of body when you need it. After a day or two, it also works as a dry shampoo by soaking up any excess oils! Plus, it smells like I just walked out of a salon.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

A bottle of this foundation lasts forever, because a little bit really goes a long way. It’s got light to heavy coverage depending on how it’s applied. I like to use a fluffy blush brush to pounce the product into my skin, and it looks so natural like I’m not wearing any makeup. A makeup sponge will also work well with this foundation, and you only need a dime-sized amount. This is great for holiday parties, photo shoots, and any other events during the season, so if you’re in the market for a new foundation this is a cult classic. When I do my fitness shoots, I just use a small amount of this foundation and I’m set.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl

Besides having a great formula and beautiful packaging, all the shades in this collection compliment a variety of skin tones. Bond Girl is no exception. It looks great on me, and I’ve lent this color out to a number of my friends with different skin tones and it has looked flattering on all of them. It’s a rosey-brown, perfect for fall/winter gatherings and goes well with light to heavy eye makeup. This is my default shade for fall, so will be throwing a few of these into my shopping cart.

Dyson Airwrap Styler

The most coveted item at Sephora this season. People are swearing by it and it’s literally flying off the shelves! It comes in 3 flavors depending on hair type and is very safe to use on the hair. It normally retails for $499, so with a 20% discount it’s a pretty good deal. This would definitely be a splurge for me, but I’ve found that I’d rather pay a pretty penny to keep my hair protected from heat damage.

Pat McGrath Labs Eyeshadow Palettes

I’ve been getting asked about these palettes a lot. I personally do not own any of them, but I’ve played around with them all. I’ve worn the Mothership I and I love the shimmery cobalt blue in that palette for a blue smokey eye. If you add a splash of water to your brush and dab it into the pan, then you get a richer hue of the shade making Pat McGrath’s collection of eye shadows very versatile. The shades are also super pigmented, so if you’re going for some dramatic looks these palettes will quickly become your best friend. I have had my eye on the La Vie En Rose palette, because of the electric pink and purple shades. If you want to try a palette out, I would suggest the MTHRSHP Subliminal Platinum for cool tones or the MTHRSHP Subliminal Bronze for warm tones. These are 6 pan palettes that retail for $55 as opposed to the 12 pan that retails for $125. However, with the 20% discount what’s cost if you’re dropping this much on makeup. Get what you want, hunny! #DOYOU
